Our First Pond
Our first koi pond began as a dream. We knew enough to dig a hole. That was about all we knew at the time so there it remained as a hole for many years. Then one day we visited Dayleen and Eduard at Okanagan Koi to purchase the liner, but it took another year to get the filter and pump and little bit of advice to finally get the ball rolling. Dayleen recommended we remove the island, so we did and then construction began. We purchased our first Japanese koi from them soon after the pond was complete and then we fell in love. By the end of our first season Okanagan Koi was closing after 18 years of business as they decided to retire. We were heart broken after just falling in love with the hobby. We asked Dayleen and Eduard if they would help us start up a version of their business on our property. They agreed, so we purchased the equipment we needed from them to begin. After many years of a dream stuck as hole, in one year after adding water it became a lifestyle, vocation, and a business.
We now get to enjoy building ponds and water features for our clients across the Okanagan Valley. We would be thrilled to work with you to help build the pond or water feature of your dreams.

RENTING A POND VACUUM IS THE MOST COST EFFECTIVE WAY TO KEEP YOUR POND CLEAN ALL YEAR ROUND.
Below you can find out about the 3 Oase PondoVac options we have for rent. Depending upon the job at hand rentals can be for a day, 3 days or up to one week so you have the time you need to clean your pond.
PondoVac 3
The PondoVac 3 conveniently and effectively removes sediment from the bottom of the pond such as sludge and plant residues with up to 4000 l suction capacity per hour. Its patented dual-chamber system enables continuous suction without interruptions – not only in garden ponds, pools and swimming ponds but also in the home as a wet vacuum cleaner. The 4 m long suction hose and an additional suction hose extension ensure a long range. This means that it can easily reach suction depths of up to 2.1 m.

PondoVac 4
The PondoVac 4 can vacuum up to 5000 l per hour without interruption. It can be used continuously and powerfully in garden ponds, pools and swimming ponds, and as a wet vacuum in the home. This is made possible by the patented dual-chamber system, which allows the vacuum to be used whilst the container is being emptied. A transparent pipe allows convenient flow control; the carrying handle, transport rollers and suction pipe holder also allow easy handling. A wide range of attachments, from surface nozzle to brush nozzle, are available for suction depths of up to 2.4 m. Suction capacity can be adjusted via a manual control unit and clogged nozzles can be back-flushed.

PondoVac 5
With 8000 l suction capacity per hour, the PondoVac 5 is a dynamic aid for cleaning garden ponds, pools and swimming ponds and can also be used as a wet vacuum in the home. Thanks to the integrated drainage pump, it can be used flexibly and can pump out dirty water even at different heights. Larger particles such as stones or leaves are retained conveniently by pre-filter bags, which can be emptied with ease via a zip fastener. The suction capacity can be adjusted conveniently during work via a manual control unit.

Pond problems such as string alage can be the result of an improper pond set up. We can help you achieve a clean and clear pond. But first we must address the issues unique to your pond that are creating the problems.
We can help you upgrade your current system by doing a site visit to see what products would benefit you by making maintenance easier and your pond cleaner and clearer.
We can provide on-site orientation for people purchasing a house with an existing pond
